so ive been seeing a number of you on here saying that the 'islanders' or polynesian players arent worth it in the nrl. i agree to an extent.
i want to point out the sides that have won the premiership since 2006, when 'islanders' starting becoming increasingly common in the nrl.

His point has some merrit, the makeup of a team which includes, age, nationality and physical attributes all play a part to build a successful team. Some coaches are concerned that majority of Islanders don't have the necessary stamina, discipline and mental toughness to compete for long periods. Some also say the same about Indigenous players, it's each to their own but it is an interesting statistic presented.
