Kegs1 - Abit long winded, but there is merit to your stats, there is no doubt a team can OD on islander players, basically they provide a power game in short bursts, very few, if any are 80 min players, therefore, getting the balance right, on how many to have on the field at the same time, and their interchange times, becomes almost a science, get it wrong, and late in the halves when they are tiring and looking for a break, easy tries can be scored against you. But coaches these days, have coached enough of them to get it right, some have, some haven't, herin lies the story, of successful teams, and the other ones.

Its easy to label this as a racist thread, but I don't think it is. The OP has put it out there for sensible resonable discussion.
To talk about the effect of allowing African Americans into Baseball or the influx of Cuban players, its not racist and can be a discussion that makes sense if talked about with maturity.
But of course you get idiots like Salvatori's backside, dumb as a housebrick that bleet the racist chant. Chips as big as his ego on his shoulder.
Proabably a recent or current school attender that has had the doctrine of any discussion based on race as racist.

ill provide another example.
WAYNE BENNETT.
he is single handedly turning sides around. he is the most RACIST coach in the nrl. he arrives at a club, sends all the islanders packing, bar one or two, say, jeremy smith, and akuila uate, and turns the team into a powerhouse.
he is the most RACIST coach in the nrl. but guess what?
he is the most SUCCESSFUL coach in the nrl.
go farkin figure.

So Tonie Carroll, Karmichael Hunt and Brad Thorn arent Kiwis becuase they play Origin. I also suppose Tamou isnt Kiwi and if RTS chooses alleigance to NSW he's Australian. I also noticed how you didn't count Hargreaves because he supposedly plays for Qld. Hes a NZ Rep. Lol.
These are still Islanders even if Mal Meninga and the so called 'Queenslanders' are converted to Australians just because they played at a junior footy club. The elegibilty rules are stupid. Where your bred is what State you are IMO. State of Birth doesnt work. 1) He must be bred in that State 2)Must have played junior footy there. 3) Only long term residents count as Origin elegible yes that means Tamou shouldn't be playing. He went to school at 13. That means hes been living here 8-9 years. He's 21-22 now. 8-9 years and hes a New South Welshman?????
Dont get me started on Greg Inglis. Even on the Oigin lineups intro on TV it says Bowraville Togers but somehow hes elegible because he played for a Qld clu but they now he played for Bowraville Tigers. How stupid. Are there under the table deals????? Surely they cant be that stupid. Thats something id expect from the Dragons or Roosters board but ARL. Lolololol
Your article is stupid. Id rather Takairangi, Moga, RTS, JWH, Tasi over Anasta or Aubusson anyday. If theyre better put them in the team. Are you saying now that we should stop the number of Indians going into universities and make the ethnicity equal so 30% Aussie, 15% Asian 15% Indian Subcontinent 10% Wog 10% European 10% Others????
If your better get a spot in the team, but really there should be a basis of selection based on the performance of a player. I have a feeling Smith is choosing on size. IMO forwards should be smart players as well e.g. James Tamou, Matt Scott, Ben Hannant, James Graham, David Shillington, Aaron Woods meaning offloads, not receiving the ball all the time, lack of errors. Our forwards are based on size and just ruin into the players, no offloads and a shitload of penalties.

how many islanders did bennett rate good enough to be in his broncos 2006 winning squad? one - civoniceva.
how many islanders did bennett rate good enough to be in his dragons 2010 winning squad? one - jeremy smith.
how many islanders does bennett rate good enough to be in his knights 2012 squad? one - akuila uate.
therefore, bennett, the greatest coach of the modern era, rates VERY FEW islander players. which means around 90-95% of them are no good!

i said tasi was a qlder, not hargreaves.
the rest was just dribble. why did you get going about origin eligibility and then forwards giving away silly penalties?
youre an idiot
