  • New Low *SPOILER ALERT* Tigers v Dogs

We have had ordinary calls for years. The moment Morris scores the try in 2010 GF after going in touch worst of the worst.

But in a club game,I can't remember seeing a more idiotic pathetic call than the last try to The Berries after a blatant shepherd.

I couldn't care about either of them. But THAT error has ensured major refereeing changes in 2013.

    Agree 100%

Also, golden point has to go - 80 minutes of top quality footy and 9 minutes of unrefereed dross.

The Storm had a far more blatant obstruction try awarded to them against us at the start of the season.

The referees and vidiots just flip a coin when it comes to obstruction calls, they simply have no idea at all.

Golden try, reduce the number of players every minute until someone wins.

We could literally have forcings back on the field.

I think it would be more spectacular if the players had to shed a piece of clothing every minute, not so good if your playing Canberra or Melbourne in the middle of winter on a Friday night. Frozen sausage with ice balls.

What was even more idiotic was some Mutt supporters at the pub trying to say it was a try

My two cents worth I have no issue with the try But I dont make the rules and the rules clearly say that is no try

The idiot upstairs will be having a week off next week for this one

weve got it all wrong the game is not about playing footy, its about watching refereees make their own rules on the run?

Agree, No try as per the rules, but common sense says try I'm more than happy when there awarded

My brother is a Bulldogs supporter...after they kicked the field goal he texted me saying 'never in doubt' to which I replied 'not when you have the video ref in your backpocket!'. His attempts to legitimise Wrights try were laughable and ended when I told him to take the bluw and white goggles off and then talk to me. Needless to say, the goggles are still firmly ensconced on his head.

I thought Joey summed it up perfectly. Ayshford should never have had to think about Pritchard not passing the ball to Stagg (I think he was the decoy) because running behing Stagg is an illegal play. Yet Hampstead now would have us believe that its perfectly legal to run behind your own player. Watch Bill come out nad justify this next week....anything to save his job!

You've lost me there. The Dogs gained an advantage by breaking the rules ie. Pritchard running behind his own player....how is it then common sense that it should be a try?

I think the common sense thing is That had the ball carrier passed it one possibly two steps earlier the try is still scored with no obstruction

Yes i didn't really care who won that game but once that try was awarded to Canterbury i started barracking for the Tigers, i am really getting disillusioned with Rugby league when you see officials making mistakes like that.Turned over and watched the end of the Geelong vs St Kilda game but once it was over switched back to watch Brisbane vs Storm and guess what, the video ref makes another error to gift the Storm back into the match just before half time.
