I vote yes & replace them with in-goal judges.

I say keep them.
I believe the criticism is mainly from commentators when the video ref comes up with a descision that doesn't agree with their own, which I believe at least 90% of the time the video ref is correct.

IF we have to keep them ONLY for over the tryline.

Gus has been saying it since day one and hes 100% correct.

They have zero feel for run of play rulings, they make as many if not more errors than reffs. And IMO they offer a crutch to the reffs and intimidate their decision making abilities.

With 2 refs on the field, they should be able to get their positioning right to get a good view, better than the "eye in the sky" to make a decision. Especially considering there are also 2 touch judges.

I say the video refs are now redundant.
