I'm no cop/lawyer, but usually on TV law/cop shows people report their dad for assault or something... then when the cops say "okay we're taking your daddy away" the kid says "oh sorry no!!! I withdraw my claim!!!!" and the cops say "sorry you can't... there's evidence of assault and it's a police issue now."

She was committing self-harm and he accidentally slipped 2 or 3 punches into her face. More likely they were arguing... he bashed her up, she reported it. Now she's faced with not being the girlfriend of a rugby league star who many other girls worship and is lying to save his ass from gaol. I'd tell her to look back to when he punched her... was she feeling the same way then? What if he does it again... will she still feel like she did the right thing?Comment
