Why were the media there, it's a mad monday celebration? That club had made all it's media committments, what were the media thinking they would get from a mob of drunken, GF losing players?

Sounds like the media went fishing and got a nibble.

          Chook.

Not really, apparently after GF defeat they shut their dressing room to all media and will most likely get a fine from the NRL for it. Probably why the media went to the Mad Monday celebrations.

And the media goes to all clubs Mad Monday celebrations, the fact that the Dogs finished runners up meant there was always going to be more than the usual number of media personnel there.

I remember the media being at our Mad Mondy celebrations after 2002 and certainly there was not the loutish behaviour that we saw (and heard) from the Scumdogs yesterday. And their supporters were no better - burning Storm jerseys.

Billy Slater should have a tetanus shot after being bitten by one of those filthy muts.

if it was a roosters player, i'd want him suspended and shamed.

Don't agree at all. Particularly given our off field dramas. Maybe in 2002, but I don't think many would play the victim card now. Don't get why this is even news. Rugby league players are pretty much cavemen. Classy behaviour is not their forte.

Fishing for a story no doubt. Channel Nein sent a court reporter to cover the dogs mad monday. Obviously no sports reporters available one day after the GF eh.

                      Chook.

Im finding it hillarious that its being left to a 'club investigation' to fond out what happened and who was involved. Seriously... as if they are going to castrate one or more of their own. It will end up that they will say it was a groundsman or another insignificant figure who they will hang for it.

Who would you like to investigate it? Let's be serious this is not a police issue so there is no one unbiased who can carry out an investigation. If the NRL tried, no one would talk anyway.

But you are missing the big picture and why this is splashed all over the newspapers and TV.
