The media thrive on this. Straight after they lost they went t the notorious Belmore because they knew there would be a riot. Its obvious they were fishing for a story. Canterbury area has bad reputation and the stereotype will make people believe it so it was a story just too good to miss. Easy news.

Bulldogs Mad Monday Celebrations GONE WRONG

This is a huge beat up and unnecessary witchhunt.
I was always under the impression Mad Monday's were celebrations closed to the public and the media and if that's not the case then unless someone is breaking the law or behaving truly outrageously, then I couldn't give a rats what the players get up to when they let their hair down, just like they don't care what I get up to at my end of year celebrations.
People need to stop being so precious.

I really don't understand why people are trying to defend the bull$cum on here??
What they did was inexcusable!! It was caught on camera what they were saying at female reporters, and it was disgusting and unacceptable!! Something does need to be done about it this to let them know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated!
All the bull$cum needed to do was what Nathan Hindmarsh did at parra's mad Monday, just tell the media that he was in no condition to talk to them, for which the media then left them alone. The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!
Here's looking at you, kid.

There was a bloke on CH9 interviewing the mayor of Belmore I think it was and he was just looking for some hint of poor behavior from the dogs fans. It's the scum reporting about the scum, there's no winners. To be honest I really couldn't care less, who knows who said what, if it's even being reported correctly or if anyone even said anything.

Didnt they call themselves the family club?
I guess a zebra cant change its stripes. Once a dirty dog, always a dirty dog. Also what else did we expect from the bulldogs supporters after a loss?? I was cheering for the storm in the gf! Goes to show the dogs arent all that good without all the favourable ref decisions. A dogs loss is always a victory for me.

I thought some people here had a few more brain cells than I gave credit for. It was a private function at belmore sports ground. A couple of camera crews showed up to find the doors locked and were told it was a private function. Channel 9 even sent a helicopter to film from above. Cameras were used to take photos from behind a locked gate. I think they may have let the channel 7 crew in for a short time but not channel 9.
Channel 9 then decided to go to a closer vantage point where the players were indoors and filmed from a gap in the window into where the players were sitting. Again it was a private function and they has already been told to leave.
What was said by the players was pathetic but for the people here too stupid to understand, the television crew were there for one reason. To dish up some dirt, not just on the bulldogs but rugby league. If you haven't noticed, the afl have stepped up their propaganda campaign with paid for articles in the press to promote the afl, this shortly after their 2ic rejected the NRL CEO job on the day of the dally m's (no coincidence) and then on grand final day announce Hazem El Masri has been offered a job with GWS. No doubt the footage was intended for use on ACA to further denigrate the game and the bulldogs duly obliged.
Don't complain then when the media do the same to the roosters as some of you are the market they are targeting for this sort of muck raking....
