True, but they are getting rid of Kostjasyn, Lowrie, Nielson, Manu, Kelly, Lowe, and Quinn.

Where's he going to play? Can't see him getting much FG time, depth signing for Widdop & Smith, must have been going cheap!

Yeh it's a really weird signing, quite a few clubs who could do with an experienced halfback... not sure why he went to Melbourne.

I took a table of clients to the Storm player of the year on Friday night.

The Club exists in a parallel universe.

It brought the house down when Ponnissi announced Finch was coming back.

They were even so rude as to compare their achievement favourably with the dogs in 04.

              What next? GI re signing?

No, GI is on a very big contract with ANZ Stadium (topped up through a small 3rd party deal with South Sydney).

Perhaps the fact he did play in a sidwe who won on Grand Final day a few years ago He even did a lap of honour with them lifted the premiership winning trophy and has a premeirship winning ring to show for it

It is an absolute pleaseure R6. I thought you needed reminding as you seemed oblivious to his link to the club by questioning why he signed with them

Sometimes I forget that you have such basic knowledge of the game, my bad. Next time I wont assume that everyone was aware that the Storm already had a very settled pair of halves and a far superior halfback.

Ah yes the 2009 grand final...To quote Elaine from Seinfeld, "Fake, fake and fake!" I did enjoy watching Brett while I was in England and he is a much loved player amongst his peers. It's only the fans who bag him out.
