Anasta is looked at as a very experienced player & is considered very good in pressure situations so you will not see him carting it up & getting smashed or putting a big hit in on someone. Who ever he plays for doesn't expect that IMO.

He is not the style of a player I like but you will probably find Mick Potter will have him in the side every week. If Farah & Benji are out he will be captain IMO.
That's always been my beef with Bwaiff, he's supposed to be good under pressure but in fact he is shit.

Far to often takes the wrong option, usually thru panic.

That's why he will never be considered among the Freddys or Lockys who had vision under pressure. Rarely did those types ever panic.

IMO if he is played like 2010, as an option on the edge, not as a main playmaker, he will go OK. That may well be how he's used cos in Benji and Farrah they have two very good attacking options.

It will come down to the balance of their pack. I'd say they haven't got enough grunt up front so he won't help in that regard. But if they tinker with the rules, especially with the reffs boss drama, well in a touch footy comp their lighter mobile pack could do a job for the Tigpies, and Bwaiff would go well.

Still IMO one of the strangest signings I've ever seen. But sometimes that's when shit happens and the gimp will win. Never know.

    The FlogPen .

    You know it makes sense.

I believe Bwaiff added value for the first few years here and then very little. His last 2 years were probably the lowest standard from any so-called marquee player in the NRL.

This is not aimed at Bwaiff-bashing as I too wish him the best but not too much when he plays us. Hope this offers you some insight into my thinking.

im not having a go at anyone , just saying what i think about the situation...after being voted most over-rated player nearly every year, questioning his value on the field is perfectly logical.. but in a different environment, who knows, he might perform great..

Ha ha, that old bloke the sandwich hand, geez he must be all of 22 or 23 isn't he?!?!
