Your post on another thread in regards to Folau & SBW was spot on when I had a good think about it.
SBW was not happy so he left the NRL for 5 years where Folau was actually more than happy in League but sold the game out for a shitload of money to play a rival code which he had NFI about.
If Parra cant fit him in under there cap he should be put on the market & let a club who can afford him have him or otherwise his manager will have to get him a contract to play Union where again IMO he will not be happy.

So if he wants to play NRL for 400k a year which I have no problem with & Parra can't fit him in under there cap he has to play for who ever can afford him. Simple.

It is simple as you say. If Watsamatta can't afford Folau well they can't have him, it really boils down to simple economics and cap restraints which all clubs have to exist under.

I can't see why a bloke who was willing to go to another code with the sole purpose of attracting kids and families to a new franchise in RLs heartland, deserves any concessions. Similarly Watsamatta who have spent their cap deserve no special treatment.

If they allow this to happen I would hope a club with real backing and clout challenge the cap and destroy the thing.

For the good of RL it needs to go IMO, the Salary Cap.
