I think what happened with Anasta this year was once he was told by the Roosters that he could look elsewhere he basically turned it up.

I know that my views are unfashionable, but I don't think Anasta deserves the hatred he cops here.

Looking back, he was no Brad Fittler, but he always gave his best for the club and had one or two very good years for us. I don't know him personally, but he always seemed to be a good bloke, intelligent and well spoken.

I wish him well at the Tigers.

I am mystified that educated people (and I believe you are) actually believe this.. He is the sort of guy who for 90% of the time does the absolute bare minimum required (and that is being kind) but has the ability to influence his team mates and those off the field to believe he is giving more and even convince them that other people should take the fall for the teams failures. He is an absolute master politician but hardly put in for the most part of his tenure and milked this club for everything he and his manager could..
