i wouldve thought if players taped their fingers together, it would be even harder to catch

Don't worry about the gloves.
Change the interchange rule the the big "penrith" style players will be gone and so will most of the handling errors.

Don't forget if Cameron Smith was wearing handling gloves players would lose all the skin from their faces when he tackled them

The article is about using sticky gloves used in NFL to make catching easoer. Some people say it'll ruin the fabric of the game but me and Ron Massey think its good because it'll cut out the errors of games and there will be more risks taken in the game as players are more confident they wont spill da pill BRO!!!!

Grammatically, if it is an innovation it is new therefore the word new is redundant; its simply an innovation or its new. Its like saying the same thing twice again.
