      RIP Jon

Feel for you, too, Jock. Horrible illness. Had a very close friend of the family finally succumb to this 3 years ago. Horrible.

              Jon Mannah

What a bastard of a disease that is, while Jon was probably never destined to be more then a first grade player, that option was stolen from him overnight, and the only solace his family can get now is knowing he is out of pain, and gone to a better place.
My sincere regrets go to John's family and his friends, in this sad time for you all, but he has joined a great bunch of fellow league players, up there in heaven, and Iám sure he'll be keeping a close eye on his brothers form throughout the season.

              R.I.P Jon Mannah.

They had a segment on him on the Footy Show last year. Seemed like a great young guy. The Manna brothers and Manna family seemed like really decent people.

Thoughts are with the family and friends.

Very sad news indeed. 23 is too young to go out like that.

Very sad news, I thought he was going to be OK. Hodgkin's Lymphona is a pretty rare form of cancer that mainly affects younger people, usually & tragically in the prime of their life. I had a young colleague contract it & he has been clear for a number of years now & I was under the belief that it rarely took the young person's life, being treatable & usually "curable", if you can call it that, there would always be a certain percentage of recurrence, but still very treatable, which makes Jon Mannah's case even more tragic. I hope the family & Tim can stay strong & be there for each other in this awful time for them & remember all their fantastic memories of Jon.

                              Poor bugger.

Now that is way too young.

Had the pleasure of meeting the two Mannah boys at the races last year, wonderful blokes.

                              R.I.P champion.....
