  • clubs scrambling to proclaim innocence regarding ACC investigation.

now that the ARLC has come out and let the clubs involved know it didn't take long for the clubs not involved to start professing their innocence.

Bulldogs, Souths and Parra have come out and said they have not been informed by the ARLC of any involvement.

QLD police have stated the Broncos/Titans/Cowboys are not under investigation.

finally the Warriors are believed to be in the clear as well.

that leaves 6 out of the remaining 9 that have got some kind of issue.

as I was saying this afternoon I have a really bad feeling about some of the things that were going on between 2009-2011, I really hope i'm wrong but there might be a few sleepless nights for a few Roosters players and officials(having to deal with any fallout).

So that leaves the following of which 6 out of the 9 under investigation.. I am certain of 3 of the sides listed so to me we are a 3 out of 6 chance of being in trouble.. Ted Helliar was quick to jump on twitter before.. Let's see if he is as vocal now.

    Dragons
    Roosters
    Sea Eagles
    Panthers
    Raiders
    Knights
    Sharks
    Tigers
    Storm

apparently the Raiders have also professed their innocence now

don't think the ARLC has really thought through the process of briefing clubs, seems as if the clubs in the clear can't come out quick enough to state their innocence, won't take long to find out the 6 clubs involved via a process of elimination.

Penrith have just put their hand up.
They are the first to say they are named in the report...

the drugs investigation is not just players taking illegal drugs. It also relates to match fixing by players who were bribed after being told they had been supplied by the 'doctors' of taking illegal substances (which they weren't) and in order to not being outed, they would have to assist in match fixing by crime gangs who were connected to these doctors.

Nothing to do with the topic but damn man it's so obvious that it's going to be your thread when the title is some long statement written in lower case. Had to say it. Lol.

wow i'm very relieved apparently Roosters have confirmed they have not received a call from ARLC and hence not named in ACC report.

Panthers are being investigated so does that mean MJ could be a chance to be given a ban!!

there is a journo from the australian that is contacting clubs to see if they received a call and reporting those that are proclaiming they have heard nothing.

his twitter feed is @brentread_7 for those interested.

the state of play seems to be Penrith who have confirmed a call

Sharks/Knights/Eagles all investigated by independent auditor

                            leaving two unknown clubs

Does that confirm they are not one of the magnificent 6 though?
