Greg Ingliss gave his missus a couple of shiners, nothing was done to reprimand him .So why should Barba be treated any different, unless of course he played for the Roosters.......

Imagine if it was a Rooster player.
Maybe he bet on himself as first try scorer lol

Well if he was betting on games last year he sure must have been on the dogs looking at his form!

Chances are we will never know what has transpired, the Dogs have alot of experience at covering things up.

I hope he gets through what ever he has done & comes out the other side. He is one hell of a player.

Exactly, it was reported in some paper a few weeks backcan't recall which one, that he was with another bird...and looking happier than ever after breaking up with his missus last year.....

If he has bashed his girlfriend I certainly wouldn't condone that as I always think the better solution is to just walk away whether someone deserves it or not.

Just like Todd Carney who had his problems off field, sometimes someone just needs a little bit of breathing space and a bit of mentoring. If Barba was a Roosters player I imagine the support from here he would get would be enormous.

Barba is an exciting machine and hope he gets his act together if things appear as bad as they may seem.

                          It depends mate.

First time Todd got on the booze, I was supportive of him and thought that he deserved another chance. Once he continually let uncle nick down and the club down and was drink driving again, that was when enough was enough. The last time he was caught with corridor crapper and nerf ball, I honestly thought that all three had to go.

Barba's issues have been going on for a while apparently, so until we know the entire situation, then it's hard to commit to a player as a fan and as a administrator at the club.

It's been a series of misdemeanors, some of which are directly affecting his football and others which are just wrong generally. He has always been a trifle "energetic" having dust ups regularly with anyone keen on having a go. He's lippy and feisty. You may remember an incident with Le Te Maari and Jamal Idris in a 7-11 whilst he was still playing Toyota Cup some years back. He is such a headcase, I thought he was headed for park football at one point.

Has he taken it out on his partner? I don't know, highly doubt it and I would be very surprised, as I have seen him with his kids. In fact, have chatted to him whilst holding his daughter. He adores them.

As far as Wally Lewis is concerned, he is good mates with Barba's father-in-law who played for the Broncos in the early years.

We don't expect him back this year, he is facing some serious demons.

Not good news Imadog & thank-you for sharing that.

Ive had my own demons at a young age so I really do hope that he gets his life to a stage where he enjoys it & can cope with everything.
If that happens hopefully that means him playing top class footy again sometime down the track.

                              Who will play FB?
                              Inu or Perrett?

****, I hope not. Perrett is too slow and Inu is too lazy.

Probably, Drury Low or Dan Abou Sleiman. Inu is a chance, but I would say Hasler will keep the disruption to the team to a minimum and just slot someone straight in.
