It has to shout out at the audience and scream "HEY, HERE WE ARE!"...and keep doing it every time it's played.
Wishy washy new age stuff just doesn't do it for me.

Hey RWB.....while topping the SMH (returns) just a few minutes ago noticed this. LOL how appropriate.

THE singer Annie Lennox has launched a scathing attack on ''horrible'' television talent shows and their ''stupid row of judges''.
The former Eurythmics singer criticised the ''feeding frenzy'' of celebrity culture, which she said led to ''Faustian pacts with brand empires''.
What are any of these guys famous for? What have they done? What do they contribute?
On her Facebook blog, the 58-year-old hit out at talent shows and questioned what some people were famous for.

The Aberdeen-born singer, who has sold more than 80 million records, also blamed celebrity on ''collusion'' between the music and fashion industries.

Lennox, whose hits include Why and Walking on Broken Glass, warned there was ''no money worth losing your freedom or privacy for … but everybody's rushing for the golden carrot''.
While she did not mention specific programs, her attacks represent thinly veiled criticisms of shows such as The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent.
She wrote: ''It all really revved up with the development of internet downloading. So many things changed at that point.
''The whole music industry turned into a completely different ball game. (I still can't quite get my head around it, but then I'm a self confessed Luddite.)
''In any case … It's all about collusion … The collusion of music industry and fashion labels. The corporate sponsorship deals with brands … The perfume deals … The soap powder deals … The reality shows, The horrible talent shows with their stupid row of judges. The endless tide of corporate advertising.
''The exhibitionists and the voyeurs … all making Faustian pacts with brand empires.''
She added: ''Now we've got pop moguls and tycoons … kings, queens, princes and princesses. Demi gods all. Our necks ache with the discomfort of gazing up towards their Truman Show pedestals.
''I don't know what it must feel like to be followed every day from airport to car to hotel to home to restaurant to high street.
''Well … I've had a taste of it, and I truly hate it. What's it like to have been on the cover of papers and magazines every single day. What does that fish bowl feel like?
''What are any of these guys famous for? What have they done? What do they contribute?''
The blog update provoked a range of responses on her Facebook page. Last night, more than 2100 people had ''liked'' her piece and hundreds offered comments.
The majority praised her blog, in terms such as ''awesome'', ''eloquent'' and ''wonderful''. But some disagreed, arguing that many singers, regardless of their era, were discovered through the ''media''.
Lennox, who has been married three times, has won a string of awards in an illustrious music career.
She is also known as a social and political activist and was appointed an OBE in 2010 for her ''tireless charity campaigns and championing of humanitarian causes''.
Last year, she performed at the Queen's diamond jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.

See, it's not just us Chook! We are in illustrious company. I love Annie very much and greatly respect her views. Yes, years ago many famous singers were discovered on programs like Young Talent Time but those were much gentler times. There were no self important judges sniping and sneering and no aggressive websites for people to hatefully rant and insult others.
I walk through Martin Place very early every morning and I saw some huge fuss being made over someone who was supposedly performing for that morning show on Channel 7. I had no idea who it was nor did I care. I'm just watching Revenge now which I recorded off Channel 7 and the ad was for this singer I've never heard of who had girls screaming all over the place. Now if it were Bruce Springsteen visiting early, that I could understand and line up for...I also chose not to renew my subscription to a fashion magazine I've been buying for years simply because I have no idea who half the people are inside, let alone why should I aspire to dress like them. Getting back the topic, that era in the above Tina Turner video was one of the greatest ever for footy. I've watched it 6 times since I posted it.."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli
