BTW I don't care where talented people come from, if it's a talent show or whatever, if they are talented I like to see them, I think Jess Mauboy may be a national treasure after her career is over, she's a doll! However I am disappointed with this song that they've used & the production of this old Etta James classic, you just can't beat thumping bass & drums for a rally song! Having said that, I am 46 yo & they have me as a fan for the rest of my life anyway, whether or not this is the right song to get Gen Y'ers or whatever the next Genners are called to come along to the games, well the jury is still out on that one. I would probably say nothing much will attract young people from non RL tribal backgrounds, they are already lost to instant entertainment modes on their Ipads etc, that's why all of you guys/girls out there with young ones, you need to indoctrinate them ASAP especially to bring them into the Roosters fold (still can't believe how my brother lost his son to Manly at 3 years of age!!!).

its a shit add. i had to rewatch it about 4 times to see who the rooster was. pearcey of coarse. that would have to be our shortest appearance yet. dont remember seeing the titts in it. and its usually drongos every where in their prancing glory and us being squashed or falling of a tackle.
just for rwb annie lennox is a top person, so very human. i shared a coffee with her and dave at the record shop i used to work at in coolangatta.Daves music, if your from the coast you will know daves music. i also tried to have a beer drinking race with mick fleetwood. he won. i roadied for him at twintowns rsl. he bet me he could scull down a can of tooheys new while drumming the drum solo in tusk..........................i worked for nothing that night..hhhhmmmmmm.
also jammed with kc and the sunshine band along with roadying.
i really miss live gigs nowwa days. no sunday sess in a beer garden, no average bands slowly making their ways up the charts. no raw talent, just karioki stly performance1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020

People say the footage was good but song choice was bad. Both were rubbish.
They could'nt show the round 1 Daly Cherry-Evans try but they show Perret jumping over the line. Dinosaurs may like the idea of showing kids but before a footy game I want HIGHLIGHTS ONLY TO PUMP ME UP.
We can't go into the past and resserect Simply The Best but AC/DC Thunder would be good.
Im not into rock but a good rock song this year is Imagine Dragons-Radioactive. It might change your persoective on Gen-Y music
