  • Titans v Sharks Result

Didn't watch it, but it was a close game.

If you were a Titans fan, how would you feel if, in a few weeks, you learned that all these rumours about performance enhancing drugs were true and that you had lost two competition points to a team that included drug cheats?

Unlike the Olympics or the Tour de France, you don't get promoted from second place to first.

How would you feel if, in a few weeks, another team got to play the Sharks minus six or seven of its players and flogged them?

    That's a 4 point disadvantage in a tight competition.

Of course, the Sharks might all prove to be clean as a whistle, but if not?

I don't think there was any alternative given the lack of formal charges, but the Titans would be entitled to be very peeved.

You won't get any argument from me on that point, Stephen.

If it does all turn sour for the Sharks in the coming weeks, I would think it appropriate that they have all points taken off them that they have won when playing with members of their squad who have been banned for using performance enhancing drugs, I think the precedent has been set with the Storm & Dogs salary cap cases, the precedent was also set that any losing teams are not awarded the points they did not win, when losing to cheating teams, hence why there are no winners of the premierships that the Storm won.

6-1 penalty count in favour of the Sharks.

          What's new at Shark Park?
