I can actually see the Storm putting 50 - 0 on Banasta's Tigpies this weekend, he will look like a park footballer against Cronk & Smith, their only chance of it not blowing out is if Farrah plays 80 mins & has an absolute blinder!

NEW Tigers halfback Braith Anasta has accepted the No. 7 jersey with mixed emotions; pleased that he's got more control but disappointed for long-time mate Jacob Miller.

Anasta has been a senior figure in Miller's development, guiding him when the pair were together at the Roosters and genuinely looking forward to playing outside the 20-year-old this season.
But Miller's first chance to steer the attack lasted just four weeks, with Anasta reverted from second row to the halves - where he was originally recruited to play - for Monday's trip to Melbourne.

"It's a tough one because I felt for Jacob," Anasta said yesterday. "I'm pretty close to him and I was disappointed for him, to be honest. But now it's later in the week, I'm excited to have the opportunity."

When Anasta learned Tigers coach Mick Potter planned to start him in the forwards, he felt the relief of playmaking responsibility would aid his game.

"You say that in the pre-season, but you can tend to miss that," the 31-year-old said. "The extra responsibility over the first four rounds - an impact on I missed having those touches and the ability to change a game. I've missed being able to have a game, when I want or when I can. You can do that from the halves."

Wests Tigers are set to look to Braith Anasta for attacking options.
        .
Anasta will not be playing a traditional halfback's role.

Five-eighth Benji Marshall will feed the scrums, leaving Anasta to "square-up" his team's attack opposite the competition's in-form half, Storm ace Cooper Cronk.

"Mick (Potter) has not picked me and said, 'Braith go out and play like Cooper Cronk'.

"I'm not there as a No. 7 to control the entire team. I won't even be feeding the scrums. The big thing is making a dent in the opposition, squaring them up and getting the ball to Benji. I'll also be using my kicking game.

"There's a number of things (Potter) wants me to bring to the team."

Wasn't he also most concerned for Todd Carney?
How could he genuinely be looking to play outside Miller when he was selected to play for Tigers as a halfback? Unless he always wanted the 5/8 role...
Another article where he has manipulated the media

He changed the game last night. Did you see his massive miss on Sisa?

If by feeling gooey inside you mean explosive diarrhea, than yeah he does.

But my god he looks good in a tigers jersey.

                      Chook.

                        • This nice bloke made 5 tackles for the match and 28 metres today...and the obligatory error. Sirronen made 100m!
Didn't watch the match. Sometimes the stats don't tell the story. Did he play ok?
When does he start grass cutting Sirronen?

Was only on the field for 72 mins, must have been when Tigers scored all their points?

6 runs = 25 mtrs, 7 tackles with 1 LB assist, 2 offloads and 1 tackle break and 1 error. Super game by the halfback, Farrah kicked more than he did.

Still, looks good in a Tiger jersey.

                            Chook.

Was he having his "Ana(st)nna nap"? Bet he equipped himself perfectly for the press conference. Did he host it?

........Shock and disbelief - Braiff isn't doing conferences. Must be on light duties
