Symonds was that good here. Just wasn't playing in a decent team, or wasn't playing at all because of injuries.

We never should have let him go. I know him personally and him being a rooster junior he was gutted when they let him go.

We needed to clear salary cap space too. You never like seeing players leaving and fulfilling there potential at other clubs but it happens we just have to move on unfortunately.

99% of players that leave the roosters play better at other clubs. Hannant Payton Tamou shillo the list goes on. The only one that I can think of that hasn't has been topou but that's probably got a lot to do with injuries.

I'm more than happy with the backrowers we have got at the club. I still struggle to see how Symonds would get a run here, even with a few injuries. Glad to see him going well , but certainly don't think we miss him in our squad. ( plus he is a ranga, aren't we trying to make them extinct?)

I have no problem letting him go , and I'm really happy for him. I don't remember him ever having much of an injury free run. Bottom line is u can't keep them all.
