Manly are arguably the toughest team in the comp. Everyone keeps writing them off at the start of the season, when they lost Des, when they lost players in the off season, but they keep hitting back.
And even when they are depleted, they usually bash us. Hopefully Robbo has toughened us up. I think he has.Embrace the Hate! JCComment

I didn't realise how big and skilful the kid was, Tom looked good under pressure, especially the way Manly use him out wide, I hope they payed good dollars for the kid. I still can't believe we let go of Taka and Symonds to sign Oldfield and LOD (broken down hack) both Tom and Taka are over 190cm, mobile and skilful ball players FMD.Comment

tom looks great and is getting his confidence up. taka has already done a hammy(mild). lod does have something to offer and he will do his job for us just fine.
so we sack fpn, pearce is shit, jake gives nothing and un creative, jwh gives away too many penalties, skids is dumb and mini is old and no good, martins a skirt....week 4.....oh yeh and lod is a hack. did i miss anyone out.

We have a top squad and whoever thinks different is a fool, however there have been some scratch your head decisions, and without doubt LOD is one of them, I can't see his value, if he could adequately play prop than he would have value but he is a little small, long in the tooth and appears to have issues. Taka and Symonds are great value with their age, size and skill and I'd prefer them over Arona and LOD.
