Those Rorting purple ones have been through quite a few feeder clubs. At one stage it was the North Sydney Bears and another time it was a club up in the Brisbane metropolitan competition.

By far their most successful feeder club was North Devils in Brisbane. A lot of good players started their professional careers out of that club.

Cronulla's reserve grade team should be Cronulla's feeder team. RL is getting very weird.

And to think that the silly new CEO Smith suggested a few weeks ago each NRL club "loan" the Gummies a couple of players should bans be imposed for illegal use of susbstances - what a farkin outrage!!!!
Cronulla alone have enough talent in NSW Cup to step up for e.g. Gardiner, Mills, Townsend, Peachey etc.... I'm sure their other half Melba can chip in Finch and 3-4 others (the commentators revealed they have 68 contracted players!).

IMO Cronulla & Storm are perfectly matched - they both cry the sympathy card. Why, Cronulla because they are yet to win a premiership & the other mob because they're soooo "disadvantaged" being in an AFL city.......please........ They've been getting
an extra 8M per annum since the Sewer League settlement and News Corp insisted that arrangement continue (not sure for how long) as part of their exit from that club. No wonder thay can afford to sign and stockpile the best up'n'coming talent and have additional coaching personnel . To me it's clearly not a level playing field.
