Would you think sending young players around the nrl / super league to develop and get game time on loan would work? They use it in soccer and i think its a great idea.

Teams that have injury issues or have players that really wont get a chance to play FG loaning the out is a good idea
Could also be a chance for young players to actually gain experience if given a chance in another team -
I think its not a bad idea... seems to work ok for other (admittedly bigger/richer) competitions. My biggest concern is we loan out a gun rookie to say Parramatta. He gets to play first grade there and decides he would rather be there than with us and it gets messy with release requests etc etc. Is there any evidence to suggest that happens in the roundball game??Comment

Can see it being used to alleviate salary cap pressures ...I'm assuming the lendee pays the wages of the player and not the lendor.Comment
