The same can be applied to that eras top players. How would they have copped with the pace of today's game and the strength of the modern era players.
No that bullshit, I saw Smith would not have lasted 4 weeks because he would have been carted off by an ambulance after trying the crap he puts on

Inglis would Make a difference if removed from South's lineup but I've seen Nathan Merritt do incredible things from fullback. Barba will be found out this season, Slater wouldn't be as good as he is without Cronk and Smith. As for Hayne, please, he is a sook and a spoilt brat and isn't half the player of Inglis or Slater.
A Freakish footballer can only be described as a player that can do unbelievable and freakish things on the field. This implies he can contribute a great deal to his team, but how much he means to the team is an ignorant way to describe a freak.

Cameron Smith can not. He can control a game but is not that impressive outside of his enforced structure.
Cronk has more ability to adapt than Smith does but Slater is the key, Melbourne's record without him is much worse than with him. He is also the backline coach, he is the best of both worlds.

I saw it mate and said the exact thing to HIG.

          Mini-esque.

I wouldn't call Smiff a freakish player as such but IMO he is tough enough to handle any era, he's a pure footballer.

I'm sure Melba lost 4-5 games last year when Smiff was injured??? And there's always the 40-0 GF without him.

I reckon he will end up an Immoral.
