The funny stuff, I love hearing about. Who could forget Finchy throwing passes into the chook pen or Hindy losing his shorts? But family members or partners should be a no go zone, whether deceased or living. If you get your kicks that way, it says plenty about the one doing the sledging, not the one it's directed to. Yes, Robbie Farah has inflamed plenty of people over the years and will always pay the price for that, but surely his deceased mother is off limits..Develop some boundaries and learn some class people!

The way I look at it is you never react, footy field or street. That's what a sledger wants, a reaction. And on the field it's worse often cos people who lose the plot often play badly after, and often get penalised cos they are the ones seen blowing up.

You bank it in the memory, smile, and when the chance arises, and it always does, you return the favour on your own terms when the emotion has lifted. And you don't hold back.

In the heat of sport, especially pro sport, it's all about getting the edge over your opponent. And people will do anything to win, hence the drugs issue we see unfolding. Class is a fuzzy word for us fans. Win at all costs is what is demanded of sports people.

I'm not saying you're wrong RWB, quite the opposite in fact, just the reality of the situation is very different to what we want.
