  • Ticket prices

I think a way of getting more people to a game would be to charge say $5 - $10 for the less desirable seats (such as, for example, the nosebleed seats at the back of ANZ stadium). I'm sure people would buy them. Wouldn't you rather 10,000 people buying them for $5 each than no one buying them for $30 each. I've got no problem with charging $50 for premium seats, but you need to give people better choices. Most families of 4 would struggle to go to more than 2 games a year due to the prices. This doesn't even include food & travel expenses

To sit on half way is less than $20 a game as a member of The Chook Pen.
Why reward those who do not wish to commit to each home game?

Penriff have a pricing structure to their tickets which is why you never see many people sitting between the 20 meter lines on the Eastern side. This is a terrible look for tv, which is the reason why The Roosters moved the Chook Pen to the Eastern side at the start of the 2000s.

Personally I think the pricing is high.
Approximately 20% higher than it should be, however with all junior league players getting passes I don't think the admission costs are causing people to stay away.

What we saw at Coffs Harbour on the other hand was part ticket price, part shit teams. In saying that though I was still somewhat surprised the Group 2 league loving locals didn't come out.

im a season holder so that part doesnt concern me, more concern for me is transport and parking costs along with substandard food at overinflated prices served by apathetic staff who know much more about a curry than a pie!
