I believe they will win the comp but not because of being a protective species I personally dont think they are a protected species, they are a farken top side.

That game last night was Manly at their gangster best, Inglis was polaxed twice by Faoso who was very lucky to stay on the field. The incident with Matai on George Burgess & the stink with Sam was all a none event. Symonds try was a try.

For me they are a very very well coached side by a man who is very good operator & as the season rolls on they will almost become unstoppable, one good positive for NRL to come out of it is the crowds.
If they win the comp this year the NRL will have it's biggest crowds ever next year. They will pull 60,000 people to club games.

But like I said earlier they have finally got themselves a top top coach, would I swap him for Robinson, NO way.

One of the vidiot officials from that game confirmed it on 702ABC radio tonight. He said at the start of this year coaches voted against penalty tries being awarded from shoulder charges. He went on to say that the frustrating thing for them is that it's not widely known or remembered.

Strange though the whole shoulder charge rule. It can be a penalty but not a penalty try.

Look at Wolfies one the other night. He seems to drop the ball before he's hit, I understand that can't be a penalty try. But if he grabs the ball before he's hit and the balls dislodged by an illegal shoulder charge over the try line the only logical solution, in keeping with any other foul play rules, is a penalty try.

Makes the rule dumber than I gave it credit for originally.

And makes the rule makers dumber than I ever gave them credit for.
