  • Ive got get it off my chest

I can't hold it in any longer, Ricky Stuart has been in my opinion the most overrated coach the NRL
has ever seen.He keeps coming up with excuse after excuse, even with decent squads he fails
to bring out the best in them.He should go and kiss the testys of Cartwright, Cleary, Pay, Gould
and Fittler for him being regarded as a premiership winning coach.

Again I reiterate it is my opinion and my opinion only.

      Calling them descents an insult.
14 out of the 17 wouldn't make the FG squad's in any other team

When I look at the team, I see a bunch of reserve graders. I don't even classify them as '1st grade.' Hayne, Sandow and Maitua are probably the only ones you can call a first grader.

Not even Jesus Christ could make Ben Roberts a first grade footballer. Ben Smith is not far in front of him.

              Chook.

He's a fraud, who won the big one because the Warriors shit themselves on the big stage.

It was only Morley firing the hell up after Fittler got thumped and Freddy's 40/20 that got the Roosters back into it.

That doesn't happen, Stuart's a prag bitch for 10 years and heading towards a career like Brian Smith's - with absolutely NOTHING to show for all the screaming and door slamming and bitching and moaning.

I suspect that's me getting it off my chest.

I think he's a good coach but you can't do much with 17 players in which 13 aren't even first grade standard. They have Hayne, Sandow, Moi Moi and Mannah (who's now injured) and the other 13 are basically a whole bunch of Anastas and Kouparitsas's.

I honestly couldn't name a coach who would be able to turn Parra around in 7 weeks with the personal they have at the club.

Parramatta is a 3 to 4 year building process. Penrith are a 5 year building process & they are in their 2nd year.

Any coach who gets their team to the big dance for 3 years in a row in this day and age must have something going for them.

did pretty well as origin coach too.

For those who say he inherited gould/murrays team(who both got nada results for us) must also agree he inherited steve kearny's team at parra, which is pretty awful.

I've always had the impression that Stuart is what we call a 'motivational' coach.
If he's got the cattle, if he's given top range he can motivate them into performing, but give him anything below the best then he may motivate into performing occassionally but week in week out, he doesn't seem to be able to turn them or improve them as footballers.

Obviously with this Parra team he has a very below par quality team ....he must surely yearn for the days when he was handed the quality cattle by Politis. Back then it was like he was handed the keys to a Porsche, as opposed to this year when he was handed the keys to a beat up falcon !

But say what you will, his CV says premiership winner, minor premiers coach, world club champion coach, 3 time grand finalist etc
The overwhelming majority of coaches don't come close to that !
