Was watching the game with my Mrs tonight who doesnt even really follow the game and she was asking me "do they (the refs) want souths to win?

Yes souths do have a good team this year but any doubt that they are being given a free ride by the officials was dispelled tonight. Absolute joke.

as for that knees ruling, the souffs player made an intentional tackle on himself thats a penalty the knees came about because of it, maxwell has no idea?
souffs aredefinitelyy being given the big push this season? weHavento chance, this year, the only positive might be seeingMelbournee stitched up in favour of souffs!

Cowboys got wrong end of some 50/50 decisions. Big difference between that and the content of this thread.

Agreed, lots of crowd penaltys $ouff$ perhaps would have won without the boys in pinks help. All the 50-50s went their way & the video ref decisions bowled me over don't worry though all this will dry up when the semis hit & they will have to work for their wins.

It's been happening for years, the top placed sides always get the 50/50 calls, like Storm, Souths fast tempo game and solid structure, force opposition to give away penalties and make errors. I'm not into conspiracy theories and Sourhs were far the better team last night even though they played ugly.

No conspiracy just a team going well and getting the rub of the green when it comes to 50/50 calls that's all.
I will say I'm sick of commentators blowing there load when ever GI touches the ball.

How slow were the cowboys in attack. When they shift the ball wide it was like watching u/12's. they were very predictable last night.
I don't like giving Souths players a wrap but what the **** did they do to Goodwin? He is a defensive powerhouse. He nullified Lyon last week and was always up In Tates face.

It's the coach, like Bellyache, Maguire can turn average players into good players, Robo will be in the same category.

That phrase has been changed to the rub of the myrtle.

                        Chook.

The 'conclusive' evidence rule has certainly played in their favour tonight.
the conclusive rule can be easily manipulated by on field referees Pretty easy try for one team no try for the other

Last night was one of the most bias matches I have seen since the 2010 gf

                            I dont agree with you.

When you look at their team & they do have 2 of the best players in the game playing for them & a coach who knows his stuff plus their effort in 2012 it's no surprise at all to me seeing Souths as the top team.

Top teams have more luck then teams who finish down the bottom, it's always been like that.

Yeah, just like we did in 2010.

I started this thread because I'm calling it as I see it.
I don't want a repeat of 2010 and from the last 2 Vermin matches it seems that are a favoured team this year. GI is the Holy Ghost
