Do you get the feeling the NRL wants the Vermin to win?

Souffs have always won penalty counts and got all the good calls, especially against us. I mean FFS I never liked Bwaiff as a player but to get king hit and penalised for it, TWICE in a game, that was UNFARKINGBELIEVABLE.

I can't recall playing them when the reffing was balanced, even when we used to cane them.

There is one difference now. Souffs are a quality team. I've been saying it since before round one, some were so overconfident, and some still are when it comes to Souffs. I hate the carnts as much as anyone but its time to face facts.

Souffs are a very farking good side. Well coached and GI is a freak.

They've always had all the breaks, the only thing that's changed is they don't need them.

My points after watching the game are as follows.
1. Souths are definitely the flavour of the year with the Refs. They will be near unbeatable if that trend continues.
2. Merrit again gets his catch and put down try, and has it lauded as if he has run the length of the field, and beat 13 players to the line.
3. Cowboys are very ordinary this season, even allowing for the biased decisions against them, if JT doesn't instigate it, nothing happens for them. I am glad we didn't pay out big bucks for Tamou , local junior or not, he's very soft this season, and will be a liability if chosen for NSW going on his current form.
4. Diamond is not ready for a first grade ref's job, they have fast tracked him too soon, not sure why, maybe they are short on ref's.

A work colleague who's also a Vermin supporter was boasting during the week about going thru the junior refereeing ranks with Shayne Hayne & Gavin Badger. Both he said were shameless Vermin supporters .

There are a lot of threads about Souths on this forum, all concerned about them winning the comp, it appears there are many posters who are developing a phobia about our ugly cousins. If the conspiracy theory were to be true, then why did Souths lose the penalty count last night 5-3, and have lost the count in the past two weeks. Souths are here to stay and will be top 4 for many years to come with their long term coach and core squad of players, so I suggest get used to it and don't worry about why they are winning worry about how we will beat them.

I know as a referee, youre meant to put your bias aside, but I suppose it will always be there in the back of your mind. bill harrigan admitted on MMM a few weeks ago that he was a souths supporter because they were the team winning the comp when he grew up (LOL).
anyway, being a souths supporter would explain why badger is such a farkwit when he refs our games (vs bulldogs 2010), but I thought hayne tends to favour us when he referee's.

Don't be so sure was'nt field & few other souths players involved in match fixing back in '94 I think, Ryan Tandy was busted the other year for the same thing, just remember its do or die for rusty & his bunnies this year he's got a lot of money if he wants this to happen you may only have to get to one or to up the top. But to suggest Footy comps can't be rigged is naive not with gambling in sport & so many morally bankrupt souls involved in this business.

No one is saying the whole comp is rigged but fair dinkum souffs are getting one hell of a leg up from the officials. It amazes me that some cant actually see this.
