Yeh Manly definitely copped some pretty unfair officiating against Souths a few weeks back although I'm not sure tonight has been as much unfair as just poor luck.

If you want controversial 2 plays before that Merritt try Sam Burgess had completely lost the ball. He even gave himself up... not sure what the refs were watching.

Yeah I notice Burgess again, getting involved when theres an incident in the play the ball not involving him (as he did v Manly). A few years ago any third player in who incited anything was harshly treated, he didn't actually throw punch tonight, but he came in and flared all the tempers when the incident didn't involve him ....would seem he has a free pass from the ref's !
