  • Jacob Miller released to join Hull

    Wtf??

Wests Tigers have today released half-back Jacob Miller.

Miller will join Hull FC in the English Super League on a two-and-a-half year deal once his visa is cleared.

Last season, Miller captained the Wests Tigers to their inaugural NYC premiership. He played nine NRL games for Wests Tigers.

“I am obviously leaving a club that I have close ties with and I have some good friends here,” Miller said.

“I would like to thank the Club, the coaches, the players and the fans for their support over the last few years and wish them all the very best for the future and hopefully a strong run for the rest of the season.”

I think a planned move by the tigers. Go over there learn the game, come back in a yr or two full of confidence.
Very difficult comp to learn your trade, especially in the halves

With Fulton & Sironen in the halves this week for the Tigers I'm glad those rumours of Potter being our head coach this year turned out to be bullshit.

Worse than Brian Smith. If we had Potter as coach we'd have LOD and Kennedy in the halves.

            Walker is right.
Miller is probably up to the UK super league standard, but def not up to the NRL.

Just because he did well in the U20s means bugger all, its a crap competition.
Sironen is a much much better player
