Why not pick Maloney Carney and Pearce! Cronk has been bench before. Mal is thinking of putting DCE there.
And everyone complains about Gidley which is fair enough but I wouldnt complain if all three were there. Carney and Maloney have both played fullback. Carney more then Maloney but just with injuries I think we could manage.

Also I'm praying Dugan keeps his form. I'd Love to see Dugan Hayne Fergo as the back three.

Dugan won't play origin and Maloney will never play fullback for anyone.

I dont understand the need for a utility when Luke Lewis will be there in the second row rotation. Especially when you look at Gidley's form as well as the likes of Fifita Woods Merrin Grant who have all been fkn awesome in recent weeks, but 1 or 2 will likely miss out on a spot for Gidley who might not even get a run out.

I'd rather Carnty play and Reynolds half....I am a selfish carnt but I'd rather the boys not be at risk injury and going stale due to Origin. In fact I'd rather the entire Souffs team Poms and Kiwis included be selected for either NSW and Qld (the Poms and Kiwis are from Queensland aren't they???) and they both bash the crap out of eachother during Origin.

Pearce will be there and Carney will be there. It's a definite I think - Maloney, even though he is great, he has missed heaps of tackles. Now, thats not a knock on him at all, he hits them low usually and is shrugged off or pushed off or trampled over in most of those missed tackles - but his effort slows the opponent and because of our defence this year, our boys slide over very well to stop the attacker after maloney is done.

The problem is NSW is not the Roosters, if Maloney goes in and slows them down the NSW boys may not slide the same way, it could leave a hole.

I think Carney is a stronger defender and will drop less tackles, lets no forget if we are talking about halves combos, the last halves combos to get us into the GF was Pearce/Carney.

Even though Maloney is fantastic, I think Carney will be picked. And I am happy for that, we keep our 6 fresh for our games. Pushing Mortimer to 7 with Langi to take his bench spot (I hope). It's still a strong pack, SBW will need to stay close to Morts though. Even though Morts is a strong defender, he isn't big and the big boppers would probably run at him more than friendly considering he will be on the field for the 80.
