  • Souffs voluntary tackles

Just watching the game against gummies. Such a simple tactic, but so effective. The ball runners don't expend any energy trying to break tackles , as soon as they are grabbed they hit the deck face down and start ground humping, pressuring for a penalty. It creates an almost unstoppable roll downfield. Why can't we do this?

the dive tackle is old, we did it 2001 2002 and the vermin are now doing it...lol@$ouffs.....its a good tactic for a fast play the ball, but it muffles any chance of a 2nd phase play.....well i look at it like a italian sokka star taking a dive and the replay shows there is no contact and the whole place erupts with laughter............

Bad thread. Bout time the refs don't help Souffs out, a fair game and they're losing to Sharks by 2 atm.

          It's a 10-3 penalty count against Souffs.

At least SKD isn't as bad as Beau Champion.. 4 errors, 3 penalties, couple missed tackles.

It helps to have big boppers if you want to play this style of footy. Charge forward and flop down like a beached whale. Then get a repeat set.

I still think they got their fair share of help last night.
The Burgess android should have been sent off, based on the std they set with JWH.

I haven't seen a voluntary tackled penalised since the 80's. Is that still part of the rules?
