At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

Barely a minute in, the Dragins are given a leg up with a dubious penalty.

Parra seem to be panicking, their last set they were kept to their own 30 mtr line and hayne shanks a kick.
They have been doing alot of defence, and some cracks are showing.

And another penalty against the Eels, right in front of the posts for the Dragons.
Boyd, with poor control loses the ball, but is called a strip.
Eels are down 4 - 0 in the penalties, and they have been 4 VERY contentious penalties against the Eels. All penalties have provided a piggy back for the Dragons and 1 got them a penalty kick.
2 - 0 Dragons

Eels miss a good opportunity to take the lead with some quick passing to the wing, Grothe could not pick up the bouncing ball and knock on called.

Mannah makes a great run on the 4th tackle, hayne puts up a super Bomb with burt and mortimer chasing, Mortimer takes hold of the bomb, juggles then pops it back to Burt who scores under the posts.
thats burts 99th try and the try is converted.

And the Eels hit back with a try to Daniel Mortimer.
A break by hayne go the eels over the half and deep into Dragons territory with boyd and morris stopping hayne, 2 plays later, Mortimer gets one on one with dean Young, breaks the tackle and scores.
Kick is good

The dragons have called for a substitution, Weyman was being placed back in the game.
The player on the field that was coming off, rather than coming over to the western side to affect the substitution, they walk off on the eastern side and allows the substituting player to come on and slot straight into attack.
If a team wants to make a sub, the substitution, unless it is due to injury, should be affected on the western side of the field.
While i was having my rant.
Copper makes a break, passes it to morris who kept the ball alive, pall is passed in, gets to soward who runs through a jaggered eels line, offloads to Hunt for the try.
Kick is good,

Early on the Dragons were aided with 4 dubious penalties and the eels only received their first after 18 minutes.
But the Dragons, in that first half of the half could only muster a penalty goal.
The eels did well to muster some attack after the glut of defence that was forced on them. 2 quickfire tries to Burt and Mortimer had the Dragons reeling, but that was eased with Hunt scoring for the Dragons just before the half.
The game is still in the balance, the eels are taking it to the Dragons and will need to hold their composure if they want to win.
If the Dragons want to win, they need to exert their dominace on the game and put the eels away.
Apart from the scoreboard, i think the eels are on top at the moment.

the second half began as the first half, the Dragons given a leg up with 2 - 3 penalties to assist the cause, yet were unable to profiteer of the piggybacks.
then we have grothe who chances his arm and comes up with double aces and takes the hand !
