  • Hayne Ruled Out - SOO III

Jarryd Hayne has been ruled out of State of Origin III by NSW medicos with Newcastle Knights winger James McManus to step up for his first Blues appearance in four years.

NSW team doctor Nathan Gibbs made the decision after the 20-man New South Wales squad gathered in Coogee on Monday.

Hayne hasn’t played since tearing his hamstring while turning out for Parramatta just 48 hours after playing a starring role in Origin I on June 5.

After a medical it was apparent that there would be no way Hayne would be running at full pace by Wednesday, a deadline set by coach Laurie "The Nose" Daley.

SOO selectors have the great Ricky Stuart to thank for that, playing him with a known dicky hammie, a couple of days after the SOO , in a game which meant nothing to Parramatta.
He is piling up some great legacies to leave the game with.

A game which meant nothing to Parramatta?

That is one of the silliest things I've ever heard.

Every club game is more important than Origin.

Yeah Parra fans don't deserve to have their players playing for them click your brain into gear before you start typing
