Souths Get a Little Help from the Refs Again

I can't say that the refs helped Souths, the Sam Burgess sin bin was disgraceful and gave the tigers the first three tries lol, Souths did what we couldn't do last week, they had a steely resolve and great composure under pressure.

Souths were manufactured that win tonight.
The ref gave the Tigers a penalty on 4 minutes, and then he over reacted by giving Burgess 10. He then made up for it by giving Souths the next 5 penalties on the trot - Tigers didn't get their next penalty until the 54th minute. That's 50 minutes perfect football. Not offside, no hand on the ball, and the makers were always square. Unbelievable.
He then gave Souths the next 3, before giving the tigers their 3rd with 30 seconds to go.
Not sure who gave away the last one, but Sam Burgess gave away the first 2. If he hadn't played, Wests might have gone 79 minutes without one......
Anyone who thinks there isn't something fishy going on isn't paying enough attention.

Not sure what game you guys were watching, but I thought the refs loved the Tigers last night during their Benji fest.
First try was a fair strip with nothing conclusive on the replay to overturn the ref, second try had two forward passes in it, Meathead Burgess should never have been binned, a blatant strip on one of their centres, Goodwin I think, instead of a penalty on the Tigers quarter line the Tigers get a scrum feed, the Merge were also allowed to walk two meters forward from every play the ball, maul in the ruck and slow it down and stand offside all night.
I thought Souths got a rough deal, and they still came back and convincingly beat them, the score flattered Bambi and his team.
Sadly they are the real deal this year and we are going to have to step up to beat them. My worry is we have had a very easy draw while they have had the draw from hell, I hope this doesn't mean they are better primed for semis style football than us.

We have not really had any tough semis style games and it's a big step up from NRL comp games to semis.
Fingers crossed.

The fg attempt by Anasta 3mins before half time was a bad call, Souths were out on their feet their big men were struggling, I was at the game the tigs had them. Of course the rest is history. Souths only got one penalty in the 1st half & really struggled against the tigers little men. So to the Roosters the message is quite simple tone down the penaltys & win by 30.
