          I love the sarcasm here.

Waqa is truly, truly woeful and whatever we have paid him is money pissed away.
Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

You could blend Waqa, Earl and Sonny Tugger, and not even get 1/2 a 3/4.

What a waste of space these 3 are. Actually 99% of our under 20s and jets are shit. 99%% there has been nobody from those suqds that has even made a ripple in first grade. We have no depth, we are a ****ed club from teh chairman to the garbo.

For years Ive been saying teh Vermin are the joke of the league. Well guess who the joke's on now? It took us 20 years to build a decade of excellence and 3 to destroy it completely.

Souffs signed Taylor for 350k a season... we signed Hargreaves for what 150-200k max.

Pretty early call but I reckon we got the better deal.

yep i reckon you are 100% right. I think JWH actually offers more than taylor. Taylor is often lazy and can float around the field in all sorts of positions. Call me traditional but I like my props to play like props and always be in near the ruck taking hit-ups instead of floating out in the centres trying to play 5/8. Taylor is a good player but JWH is bigger than him and at worst, just as explosive as him and he has a great skills set as well but most importantly he actually plays more like a prop. I think it was more around the 150k mark max that we paid. Id be vrey suprised if we paid him 200k. Then again he will be worth it I can assure you.

Taylor is just like another Mason, minus the attitude issues.

Big units who are devastating out wide, but lack smarts and if marked well can become very ineffective.

JWH looks like a leader - when we signed him, I was almost sure that we would have released Myles. JWH is only 19-20 and he was not only matching it with the big boys, but he was physically dominating some of them.

Waqa and Earl must be released immediately as they offer nothing to our team,as for Tuigamalaka, need i say more..

The Vernim are buying smart, while we continue to buy duds!

buying smart? They have 4 props who are all on big money and an empty backline. Buying smart gernerally implies signing good players for good value. Paying 400k for an unproven englishmen and 350k for taylor who has been very hot and cold seems a little risky if you ask me. Tbh, if you are talking about SMART buys, I think we take the cake. We signed JWH instead of going after Taylor - very smart move to save money and get a bloke who plays a more traditional forwards role. We signed phil graham - try scoring machine who if not injured is one of the most devastating backs in the comp and carney - best young 5/8 in the comp or only real good genuine 5/8 in the comp. Throw in ryles who is coming for pretty good value considering the money he has been on in the past (will add the experience we need - not sure if he will turn out a good buy or not but there is the potential for this to become a smart buy) and for mine, we have done bloody well. Although we came last, I think there were more things wrong with the side than the squad. It was pretty much the same squad that came top 4 last year they all pretty much just gave up half way through the season (from fittler's mouth).
