  • In the unlikely event that Cronulla win the comp...

Yes, I know, this is very unlikely, but...

Would their title be stripped if their players are found to have been using performance enhancing drugs?

You'd first have to check with Harold Holt and get him to turn the porch light off.

One thing for sure, you can bet that the NRL would be hoping the sharks get immediately knocked out of the semi race, so as they don't have to worry about stripping another team of a title or a team complain that they were knocked out of the title race by a team that was found to be guilty !

The Gummies have about as much chance of winning comp as the St. Peters over 45's side does. Manly are the ones to worry about.

The indiscretions of the Sharks didn't happen this year so I don't think it should be an issue. The players don't have any advantage over any other team this season.

The punishment should be a fine to the Sharks for bringing the game into disrepute as well as using performance enhancing drugs. Plus any guilty players should be fined and suspended depending on how much involvement they had.
