  • Are the rabbitohs the Greg Norman of the competition?

The bunnies had an unassailable lead at the top of the comp to take out minor premiership and squandered it like only Greg Norman could. (US masters). When the pressure hit they went to water. But now that its finals time and the pressure really builds, the blow torch to the belly is applied and the cracks will emerge.

We have proven we handle the pressure, kept more teams to nil, held out manly to nil in a semi final after a few hours of attacking our line.. Yawn

But the bunnies seem to fall to bits when pressure is applied.. Nathan Merritt was made to look like a turnstile during origin 2. John Sutton was put up against josh Reynolds for an origin spot and melted under pressure. He also has a set of butter fingers on him when a big game is on and in my opinion will be the paul carriage of 2013. My mail is they have Paul carriage as their motivational speaker before big games (parramatta 1998 fullback who single handedly killed parramatta in a grand final qualifier)

We showed the bunnies up in a big game playing for the minor premiership, they just capitulated when the blow torch was applied.

Adam Reynolds disappeared when it was time to produce something, GI is super talented but is playing like a busted, like he has been in a smash up derby .

The pressure is well and truly on, do we agree they are they the Greg Norman of the comp?

I'd love to play them in the grand final as they will completely implode and we will walk all over them. The rabbitohs are the greg Norman of the comp!

The biggest chokes will be remembered as follows

        5. Jane novotna fails to convert 6 match points at Wimbledon
        4. Glenn seton running away with a win at Bathurst and his car conks out of fuel with no one in sight
        3. Parramatta in the 1998 grand final qualifier leading 18-2 over the bulldogs with 9 minutes left. Paul carriage does everything humanly possible to lose the game. Bulldogs win 30-18
        2. Greg Norman, US masters leading by 6 shots in last day loses by 5 shots to nick Faldo. In 1986 led all majors to capitulate
        1. Rabbitohs 2013, make it 43 years since last premiership, in front of 75000 rabbitohs supporters wearing grand final pre printed t shirts get rolled in the last minute of play because John butter fingers Sutton drops the ball in his own 20 metres line 30 seconds to go, Nathan Merritt misses another tackle to give up the game and end their season. Rabbitohs to knock off the above chokers to take top spot.

Don't forget New Zealand today in the America's Cup.
They were leading 8-1 (first to 9 wins) and choked... America won the cup!

Greg Norman won his last major years ago in 1993 , mind you some 22 years after Souffs won their last premiership
He went on to win 89 world wide tournaments since then .What have Rabbits achieved since then ? sweet FA -LOL SOUFFS FAIL
So i think you are a bit harsh comparing Norman to them

I think you meant Norman won his second and last major some 22 years later than $ouff$ won their last premiership.

True minichello could be worse than Greg Norman if we lose another grand final. He could be a fitzgibbon. We were lucky in 2002 as the bulldogs were kicked out of the comp. They probably would have given it to us if they didnt get caught until after grand final. Parramatta were not so lucky in 2009 when melbourne were caught after the grand final.

mark my words here that the bunnies go to dust when the heat rises. Any team who replaces cheerleaders for a marching band seems to be missing something..

I'd rather play the council wheelie bins in the gf. A Gf loss would hurt them more than a qualifying final loss, particularly if it's against their arch rival the roosters. "forever in their shadow", not really, we're on the sonny side up.

Up 14-0 and lose by 10? Even Greg Norman wouldn't choke like that
