Only 5 days now till Trent's men begin their premiership defence campaign, as they begin off-season training on November 4. With all the World Cup boys not there, it will be a good chance for the younger guys to impress.

Only one team, the Raiders, go back earlier, as they start tomorrow. I think it shows great dedication and work ethic for the premiers to be heading back so early, especially as other lowly sides, like the dragqueens, head back a good two weeks later.

i dont think mosdt of the guys woyld have lost too much core fitness just match fitness and the world cup guys might even have a bit of that on their return?
