  • If only Mose knew what he could be..?

Consistency and a full time temperament could see him be one of the best?

He has the body for it.. But he needs the attitude/heart of someone like Gallen or Bird, or even our very own LOD.

He's starting to mature really nicely. It's a shame he's decided to leave the NRL because I reckon in a couple of years he's going to grow into a really good player.

I agree with you.. This season was easily his best and he played with more consistency and longer minutes than in the past which I would put down to a much better pre-season whilst he was with the Roosters, due to the greater emphasis on fitness. It is hard to judge him under Freddy and in particular Smith who didn't put fitness training high on the agenda in the pre-season. Not sure how a guy with Mose's natural size is suppose to succeed in that situation. I reckon he will absolutely kill it in the ESL.

I think Mose will come back to the NRL in a few years I think Mose will be a big hit and a real crowd favourite in English Rugby League

Do you think he has the killer instinct for it mate, the NRL???

You have to be as mentally hard as you are physically hard for the NRL.

He's got the physical attributes that's for sure but he can't mentally go for more than a few minutes till fatigue blocks his brain from performing at the level required for our game.

Hard to find that mental edge in the SL when you don't have it over here to begin with IMO.

You never know .... some players do come back from the English game with a better head. Jamie Lyon seemed to come back with a better attitude, Sam Moa also came back with a better attitude than when he went over.
I agree, Mose just doesn't seem to have that 'Killer' attitude, but you never know he may discover it over there ? One thing for sure, he will be a crowd favourite, esp after he smashes his first couple of opponents.

Hopefully I will be proven wrong Mr Pierce, at least Mose is young enough to make the adjustment.

Lyon is a bad example IMO. After all his nickname is "killer" he's always had it in him, showed it before he left.

Moa I will agree with. He's showing what maturity, opportunity and good coaching can produce.

I just think Moa is more the exception, not the rule.

Most players who can't quite cut it here, not physically but mentally, head over to the SL cos it's easier and more comfortable an arena to play in full time.

IMO Mose fits the cliche. Put it this way, why didnt Bellyache or Waynekerr recruit him??? They both have a great record at helping such players reach their true potential.

But again I hope I'm wrong, such a waste of raw potential.

He's only in footy cause of his size. Maybe he should try a non contact sport like shot putt.
