One of the poster boys of the English Super League, Wigan winger Josh Charnley, will make his way to Australia for his club’s World Club Challenge clash against the Sydney Roosters.
It might not be the last time local fans get to see him. Charnley’s agent, BBC identity Andi Peters, has made it known the prolific try-scorer is interested in a move to the NRL.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are short of an outside back and could soon have some money to spend under their salary cap if Sam Burgess switches to rugby union.
