But hey any time you feel like actually backing up one of your statements I'd be interested to hear... always up for a good laugh.
The excellent comment that was made earlier applies equally to you...you're like an old Souths fan defending George Piggins

And I've tried explaining to you the reasons why, but you don't get it. And then you defend your position with your illogical, bush-lawyer gibberish. People who do that are, basically, impossible to talk to.

Earlier today you suggested Politis should be retained because there aren't any other decent candidates. Are you kidding? Here's a name for you - Steve Noyce. How about we become like every other club in the comp and start having the people employed in operational roles actually making the decisions. Not some ageing chairman of the board who, admittedly having poured a lot of mony into the club over many years, now just intereferes and makes terrible decisions and simply refuses to allow the people he employed to do their jobs.

I work with the son of a former senior Roosters official. He's told me some astonishing stories as to the absolute pig headed way Politis goes about "running" the show. The word that best sums Politis up - unprofessional

I remember when I was a kid strutting around in my City Ford emblazened jumper, and bragging to my mates who supported other clubs that city ford were the longest running major sponsors in the game. I thought that Politis was a God. Maybe he was back then.

But he's not now, and hasn't been for a long time

This club can't be great again until he is gone

But again, if you're happy with the way things are going, then good for you

Obviously you don't take sarcasm very well if I wanted to I could fill this forum with reasons why Politis is better than any candidate who turns up to our front door but as a Roosters fan I'd just be telling things you already know right?

Honestly you think Steve Noyce? Since the bloke has been here has anything good happened? So we make him our chairman? Are you saying that he is good enough to find the dollars which Politis brings into the club every year through other avenues? Based on what? Did you're mates son who whoever it is tell you how great this guy is too... you talk about people who make arguments that are impossible to talk to well pot, kettle? My brother is Neil Armstrong.

The equal share for each club reminds me of the start of the V8's. I'm pretty sure the 'originals' Larry P, Dick J, Walkinshaw etc all got their original licences for not much. So, they had a vested interest in the V8's succeeding, so that they can sell out when they want out, such as Larry P did (I think) for 1 of his licences, and they get a commercial return for all their hard work.
So, potentially, down the track, maybe some of the clubs could cash-in on their investment, and sell out....
