if the club was holding any hope of getting Fergo registered before close of business tomorrow for the 2014 season, Carney's actions would have slammed that door shut, the NRL won't risk any further time bombs this year.

it will be curious at which point the NRL will register a contract for Fergo for 2015 and when we will actually announce the signing, my guess it will happen in the middle of the off season when the NRL is out of the spot light.

It very much is the point. Todd Carney has a criminal record, Blake Ferguson has not. And by all accounts from people I have talked to within the club's structure Blake knows he's on his last chance and is acting accordingly.
