  • Legally they might have a case here.

Can't blame Todd and his manager for exploring that angle.

    • well Carney probably has more experience with the due process of this sort of incident than anyone else in RL
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

      • I hope he does get reinstated thru the legal process.

I also hope he finally learns to take responsibility for his own actions.

I still worry about his reaction. Instead of putting his hand up and accepting that he was responsible he blamed the bloke who took the photo, the bloke who posted it, the NRL, Noycee, The Tardpoles etc.

At 28 it's a worry he still can't accept the basics.

        The FlogPen .

        You know it makes sense.

Todd Carney signs three-year deal with Catalan Dragons

Axed NRL star Todd Carney has been given a lifeline by English Super League outfit Catalan Dragons, who landed the former Dally M medal winner on a three-year deal.

The 28-year-old will also be handed the captaincy of the Perpignan club from next season, as long as the move is approved by the Rugby Football League.

Captain Carney's last chance at redemption.

Hate seeing talent wasted...and people with the chance to 'set themselves up for life' when young failing to do so.

Rival club puts Carney's Super League bid under threat

Outspoken Leeds rugby league boss Gary Hetherington has reportedly urged clubs to oppose Todd Carney's move to the Super League, saying it will tarnish the competition's reputation.

The exiled NRL star has agreed to a three-year deal with French side Catalan Dragons and the move could be ratified by the Rugby Football League this week.

However UK newspaper The Sun reported on Tuesday Rhinos chief executive Hetherington had emailed rival club bosses in a bid to raise support for the move to be blocked.

"We'd be appalled if his application was granted because it would damage the integrity and profile of Super League," former England international Hetherington was alleged to have written in the email, according to The Sun.

It's not the first time Hetherington has hit out at the Super League club's signing of an axed NRL star.

No worries, kick 'all' the English players out of the NRL in retaliation...Putin style.
Australian, NZ, and French players only allowed in the NRL.

English players who grab testicles, post nude photos of themselves online, and smash up cars etc should not be allowed in the NRL...lest they damage the integrity and profile of the NRL.

              • Fresh start for Carney
Todd Carney left for his new life in France on Saturday night. He said his family farewells during the week – but he made a special trip to Sydney to see Roosters chairman Nick Politis. You may think that odd, given he was released from the Roosters, but Politis never wanted Carney to leave. It was coach Brian Smith and CEO Steve Noyce who wanted him gone. Politis has always had a soft spot for him.
