Todd needs some real help. This sort of thing is a deep Psychological issue. The NRL is a minor thing compared to where Todd's mind is. I have heard about this type of thing in the past, alcohol and drugs are the trigger that bring out the demons, the final outcome can lead to major depression and eventually suicide. Someone needs to help this kid and not so they can get him back into the NRL circus, but to save his life...

People do stupid things all the time and the public forget these guys are footballers who are prone to such behaviour, they are not role models. Cronulla are within their rights to promote what ever image they see fit and take action against players that don't fall within their guidelines in saying that they employed him knowing his past issues and the NRL did register his contract so you would think they would try to get him the help he needs but as the old saying goes you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it.

As for Carney I agree with the person who posted the thread He needs help and sadly is a suicide candidate or one who will probably pass away young if he doesnt get himself sorted outWhen you trust your television

I heard his manager on 2UE saying that he didnt actually urinate in his mouth, he made it look like he did. It was a visual thingo, like when people pretend to hold up the leaning tower of Pisa.
His manager said they were annoyed they didnt get a chance to present their side of the story or defend themselves.
he did not authorise for the photo to be uploaded anywhere.
What sort of mate uploads or sends any photo of another mate around or uploads it.
That 'mate' has cost TC his career and possibly his life.
Believe me, I am not defending or condoning what he did, but we didnt know about it or see it, there would be no harm done.Member 2008 - forever

You can also see that his days of boozing and heaven knows whatelse , were taking effect on his body and form....his last contract at the Sharks was going to be pretty much his final one in the NRL , god only knows what lies ahead for Carney now.........

I'm calling this guy as a sociopath. There's a latin term "In Vino Veritas" meaning in wine...or alcohol...the truth lies. It means a person's real personality is exposed when they're drunk.
All of Todd Carney's aberrant behavior happens when he's drunk. Short of putting him on Antabuse for the rest of his life and hoping he doesn't blow up, I don't know what they can do for him. He'll end up in jail or dead.SUPER DRAGON!

Carneys future in some ways is still in his own hands 1st thing he has to do is seek help and admit he has an issue with alcohol along with any other issues he may have gained due to his alcohol issues The alcohol issue is something he previously has refused to admit It is clear to all there is one as this sort of incident would not have happened had he been sober The sooner Carney realises this and takes some action to help himself the better chance he will come through this and end up a better person who leads some sort of meaningful life
I honestly hope he sorts himself out and wish him a full recovery He has a very tough road aheadWhen you trust your television

Carney has been presented with a multitude of opportunities to change. He declined many offers of help and in the words of a former team mate, he just doesn't want to change.
He has problems and one of those problems is he is a dickhead plain and simple. The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

To think some guys try & p1ss in their own mouths is just beyond comprehension & Im pretty open to most things but that's just ridiculous.
I can only think that Carney was doing what his manager has said (Muffdaddy post) "a visual thingo, like when people pretend to hold up the leaning tower of Pisa". I think Carney is a joker/prankster who still does dumbarse things at 28 which has cost him at least a million dollars in his career.
