Gold coast, rabbits and chooks IMO best pickups. Storm really got lucky with Stanley too, he will go great guns for them

I was surprised that no one has picked up Aaron Gorrell as a back up...

Thanks for posting that list TBF.
What I'm amazed by is how many the Storm lost yet how strong they remain.
Also, and unfortunately, I think the vermin may go alright this year.

Fitz is the only big loss there IMO in terms of what he can offer to our team on and off the field.

I can make an argument for Shack but i still think he is too one dimensional especially for the $ he is getting at Parra.

Getting Ryles, JWH, Graham, Carney, Conn and some young guns for the rebuilding process was great in terms of adding experience as well as youth.

I really think that barring injury, Ryles is the best pick up in terms of what he will bring to the team. Most would argue that Carney takes that prize however i'm not sold on his off-field behavious and training ethic.

Actually, saying that, i will go out on a limb and say that Ryles was the best pick-up in the NRL, alongside Stanley and Burgess.

We have been linked to him since Friend's sacking but reckon that's more just the media joining the dots than anything factual. Wouldn't be a bad option... I always liked him at the Dragons.

*= when he is running out wide at halves and smaller backs.

While taylor is Fast and mobile for a big bloke, when it comes to the constant grind of forwards work, he can go missing and has in the past done so.

Reminds me of someone the Bulldogs had many years back lol.... They have a big enough pack to enable him to spend some time out wide though.. they don't let go true talent easily though they did let Hodges go once... Taylor it seems was let go because his attitude wasn't right when it came to training but he knuckled down once he was signed by souths..

yes they did.. Henjak did say that it was a pity the way He played after he signed with Souths, they may have kept him IF he played like that all the time..

But other than that it was the Broncos who told him to look elsewhere.
