Unless you supported Paramatta why would you care?
The NRL are far too busy driving nails into their own coffin to be effected by what any single player does.
Bugger Hayne, fix the bloody rules.

Love watching the nfl, be nice to see if he can make a starting team.
Just a smokescreen cause he doesn't have the guts to admit he is sick of playing for parra.
Think Benji Marshall, goes to another code, fails sensationally then re-discovers his passion for rugby league, probably to play for our cash-flushed premiers.
Watch this space.

Unlike other sport men who have crossed codes for money, Hayne's going to chase a dream and is fully aware that he'll have to start from the bottom to make it, if he does,. He's been a good role model for the game and wish him all the best. I'm sure that if he does make it, I'll be like many Aussies cheering him on.

Yep same.
Wasn't it only 2 yrs ago that peni tagive left the chooks and played for the baylor bears? Not sure if he is still there, but hayne would have five times his talent. Given baylor is a college team, but if the nfl have shown any interest in hayne, they must see some potential.

Why would it be 'awesome'? To me that person wreaks of envy. Probably achieve nothing so can't be happy that someone like Hayne has the balls to give it all up, just to follow his dream. Totally different from Marshall cause he thought he was going to show em how to play.
That comment is so predictable it's boring, anyway it's exactly the same as Marshall, he's stale in Parra everyone can see that. He doesn't want to be labeled as another SBW walking out on a contract, and he doesn't want to betray parra by going to another club so he sees leaving the NRL as the only option.
Weather he makes it in the NFL remains to be seen, but i'll bet he's back in the NRL next year just not for parra.
NFL is a cruel business, they chew players up like confetti looking for a good one, and disgarding the ones who are no good, quicker then passing the pork chop in a synagogue. You get very limited to make the cuts as the preseason training runs along, and you are training along side players who have played the game all their lives. He has the talent to make it, but if he'll be given the time to make it, is another thing.

Short burst of power and speed, set plays, plenty of rest time.. Don't see why Hayne shouldn't get a start.
