...another Story of the BurgeArses.
This time at Scots College where Julie teaches English (methinks the phone chucker helped get her a job)
Rabbitohs Success celebrated at Scots
Whether you were supporting the Bulldogs or the Rabbits in last weekend's NRL Grand Final, it is hard to deny the amazing impact of the Burgess boys to the game and in particular the eventual champions this year. Mrs Julie Burgess, mother to Sam, Luke, Tom and George who have all represented Souths this year, has been a teacher at TSC for the past 2 years and understandably was elated with the result.
"What a roller coaster of emotions we've been through as a family in the past few days! I am incredibly proud to see my sons being part of a team which has made a mark in the history of Australian rugby league. Their hard work, commitment and sacrifices have been rewarded with a Grand Final victory. I am optimistic that Sam will make a full recovery from his injury to his cheekbone; he took me out for dinner with the family for my birthday at the weekend and was in great spirits, back to his usual happy self! I am grateful To The Scots College for the support (and banter!) we've had throughout the season from staff, students and parents. Scots to the fore! " Ms Julie Burgess
Hope this ends it for the rest of the off season
